THE COMMUNITY BRAIN

Community brain is an ogranisation which exists for the main reason of bringing people together through art, education and local history in hope to develop communities by giving place and pride to where they live. Working with other organisations such as Arts Council England and The Heritage Fund they are able to make a significant impact on towns and cities through hosting events such as food festivals, creative centres and more open projects such as SHEDx which is revolving around the town of Tolworth's area and communitity trying to engage residents with their local green space and heritage.

What we are trying to do with The Community Brain and 121collective is to showcase what is already there, every person and every place has its own story and all that needs to happen is for these to join up together naturally. Right now these events are being put on by these organisations to kick start the commnunity. Our goal at the end of working together is for the community to have all the elements it needs, facilities, support and communal spirit, to continue these events and attitude of coming together to interact with art, nature and of course, eachother.
